For the past week or two I've had off and on glute pain. It's only on the left side and doesn't hurt with every step. Usually getting up from sitting and doesn't hurt when i run that often. Sometimes I do get a quick sharp shooting pain up my left glute though.
When I press on the area it doesn't hurt. When I do a lateral leg raise i can't raise it. I used to do that leg raise for strengthening when I was nursing a tibial sfx.
Is this a stress fracture or just something muscular? Do I need to take a day off? I'm not really sure how to stretch it besides just fulling my foot in towards my chest while im cross-legged.
