Hi
I started running a month ago and was feeling great mentally and physically so I wanted to progress my distance and I started hitting the gym doing squats chest biceps triceps.... the full gym workouts , it's like i shifted my interest from running to heavy weight training and the muscle soreness started and my mood dramatically changed from happy energetic to grumpy short tempered. And my running performance was affected as well , low energy low motivation.
What do runners do exactly at the gym ? Light weight training just to work the muscles or they go heavyweight!!!
