The White Elephants from 2012 Rio, 2008 Beijing, etc. are a complete disgrace. NBC has to clean own the bid process by selecting three permanent Summer Games cities. Discuss.

This American says London.
Let any city that wants to host the games bid. If they want to spend money on stadiums that will collect dust, not my problem

I would go with a city in Israel because the country has security issues better covered than any other major geographical region of the world

??? 2012 Rio, 2008 Beijing??? Your spelling is worse than mine (or Rojo's)
Beijing is the only place that can afford the Olympics. LA is a dive. There are way, way better American cities to host the Olympics. Japan will one day go bankrupt. LA or Tokyo are too hot in summer. Somewhere in Northern Europe but now with terrorism this maybe a problem.
Only after the US brings back the 20 million local Arabs that were placed in concentration camps and exiled.

Won't be part of Europe after 2018.
Ancient greek olympic pederasty ritual should be disbanded and IAAF should have a world championships every year. There will be NO heats, instead the top 8 or 15 or whatever depending on event will be selected from the top list of performances since the last world championships.
This will ensure that everyone tries to go fast in every race no matter what time of year so they remain in the WC final. The final itself will be paced by a robot going the same pace as the world leading time, and any runner falling more than 20 meters behind will be DQ'ed. If all runners are DQ'd then the world leader becomes world champion.
This is fair and how it should be done. Don't deny it.

Even though new, modern stadiums are being build, Tokyo and LA have the venues and infrastructure already finished and in daily use today for any Olys or similar.
Beijing is ruled by an unstable fascist regime constantly wary of invasion from the north, west, and Pacific Ocean.
I don't know which city on Europe is stable enough to be named a permanent site.
just build their own Olympic city somewhere like the Vatican and it can be like disneyland during the rest of the years when not used otherwise
not in the USA though, let someone else take responsibility for being a target

They put on a great show last time; their organizers and volunteers were magnificent. Encore
Idiot. Explain to me why making worlds into a time trial is the way it "should be". Every race would be the same. Moran. Let the athletes compete. Strategy is part of the sport.
Ummmm, you do realize that NBC doesn't actually select who gets the Olympic Games right?
The IOC decides which location hosts the Olympics.
NBC is a broadcast partner and pays a rights fee to televise the games in the USA

That's not fair. If everyone else is DQed, the robot should be the champion.
Which city in Europe has for each Summer sport 1) stadium completed 2) stadium used every day?

Aside from the robot joke, your post was actually quite sane. Rare.
I'm not sure why Beijing would be considered a "white elephant" in Olympic terms
They should permanently move the Olympics to Munich. Everything went great last time it was there.
Sad state of affairs remain today. Germany has yet to re-patriate severalmillions of it's own biologically identical Jewish people, who the Allies in1945 forced out, exiled to US administered Palestine, a.k.a. Israel.

You need to include Mainland Asia (China/Russia/India), Mexico/Central/SouthAmerica, Middle East/Africa.
You simple cannot exclude the majority of the planet's population from hosting just because you think only certain cities are so much "better."
