Times were decent but he did win all 4 events. He's a big dude.

He also won Arcadia this year in 4:08. He's high jumped 6-4 as well, and is the two-time state champ in xc.
He signed with U of Washington. His sister is a pretty legit runner for U of Arizona presently.
He ran 4:12 for 1600 in Colorado just a week ago which is inherently better than his 4:09 at Arcadia. Dude's a beast! Kinda reminds me of Solinsky.

Kinda? If the listed weight is accurate, he's 30 lbs heavier than Solinsky.
Don't forget that he's ready n under 15 min in xc and twice qualified for NXN.
He could have run faster at state but his school was chasing the team title (wound up 2nd) so he was merely racing to win.
I recall him running 1:52 for 800 at state his sophomore year!!
Him winning the 800 was bs. The guy winning tripped 2 feet before the line and Isaac passed him then.
That's insane! Can anyone verify his weight? What an engine inside that massive frame.

He won dipshit.
LRC ,where all the Lilliputians think 6-1 and 193 is huge .
He looks pretty big for a distance runner, but he's NOT 193 pounds.
193 would be huge. Not sure I believe that either

6-1, 193 is about the average size of a NFL defensive back.

Didn't see him run this year, but looked more like 175 or so last year. He's definitely big for a runner doing anything more than 800 m. Good article. Hope he has great success at UW.
6' 1" and 193 IS huge for a distance runner. That's a 25.5 BMI. Centro's 5' 9" and 132 would be a 19.5. Letsrun's favorite giant, Chris Solinsky, is usually listed at 6' 1" and 165 for a 21.8 BMI and, as someone noted above, almost 30 pounds lighter than this dude. There's no way he weighs 193.

What do you mean there's "no way he weighs 193?" Do you think the Denver Post reporter interviewing him just pulled that number out of a hat? His weight would have been provided by Green himself, unless you think Green has no idea what he weighs.
Nonetheless, that's a very big top H.S. distance runner (much heavier than Solinski ever was). Interestingly, I wonder what his mileage is and whether or not he's had any injuries over his H.S. career?
I think this place is full of a bunch of anorexics. You all look in the mirror and imagine you're bigger than you are, then go barf.
Wait, you all actually weigh 310, the times you ran in high school get faster every year, and all you do is hate. And you barf from all the crap beer you chug, because of the Oxy you can't shake, and the horrible wife you try and avoid. Frank can't poop!
I am 6-1, and 193, and while not as fit 'looking' as this 193 lb kid, I can state that he is 193. And this is high school. Work half-ass all year, and you, too, will be a state champ. Problem is, the only kid who DID work year-round, summer of dumbRepubass, etc., just beat you.
He looks no more than 180 in the picture. Maybe he's 193 in off season. I'm 6'1" as well and 185. My arms are definitely bigger than his and my legs are a bit thicker as well.
This post reads like it was written by a mentally ill person. Good work.
3 different articles, 3 very different weights..."At 6-foot-1 and over 170 pounds, Green is an awe-inspiring blend of power and speed." says one article. His coach says he's 6'2" 180 and the above referenced article has the reporter claiming 193lbs. The dude is an athlete for sure, my guess is 185 tops and more likely 180.

When were those articles published? The Denver Post did a story on him way back during his sophomore season listing him as 6-1, 175. The John Meyer article from The Denver Post is the most recent from this past weekend. Meyer would have gotten the weight from either Green or his coach, and I'm sure Green would have reviewed the article for any misprints before it was published. If we're not going to believe a veteran reporter on the weight of an athlete then maybe they should start carrying portable scales & weigh the athlete right then & there. Lol.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
