I have a 3200 race on monday and I am shooting for sub 10:00. What would be a good workout to do today in prep / tune up for that?

What have your recent times been?
tempo
REST. You'll gain nothing in 72 hours but extra fatigue. Been there done that. Got under 10. Teammates didn't make it. Did a stupid tempo 3 days before. Complained that their legs were still sore. Others will go 180 degrees against my words. You make the call.

p.s. My regional is this evening. 3200. Been there done that and still at it:)
I suddenly get sick and go home from school 3 days before bigger races. Hay is in the barn.
Stride outs, sure. A hard tempo, no way. If you've done the hard stuff already, your legs will be ready to go race day.
Run a hard 16 two days out. Hit your 3200 season PR pace on the 16. bookend it with 800s. something like 8-16-8. or 8-16-4-2. I feel I race best when I work into the meet. If you have been pushing all season this only help you. Look at what Joe Vigil does 2 days out.
