Hi
Just need some advice.
I was out running about 5 weeks ago and hit a hard chunk on mud and went down instantly.
I felt the pain shoot to the outside of my left foot ( it felt like some had hit my funny bone really hard)
Went to the clinic and found out with X-ray I had fractured the base of my 5th metatarsal (the break is not complete just a little under 1/2 way.
I was given a boot and crutches and told by the doctor " no weight baring for at least 3 weeks.
It's 5 now and it feels like pins and needles in my foot when I step down.
The side of foot hurts and is still sore at the location. It feels tight along the side of my foot like a pulling sensation.
I'm just wondering if this feeling could be from sprained ligaments and soft tissue damage
Does this seem normal
Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated
