I'm a guy senior in high school. Tomorrow I am running my first 400 m dash, and was hoping to get some tips on how to get the best time possible. My 100m dash is 12.7 and my 200m is 26

Are you currently distance trained or sprint trained?

I'd say distance, but I've been recovering from injury the past 2 weeks.
95% first 100, get into your rythm for 2nd 100m, 3rd 100m is 100m effort, 4th 100m hang on and hold your form
First 100m should be pretty fast, try to catch whoever is in the lane on your right in the second 100m. In the third quarter, try to get near the front. All out on the last 100m holding form.
