It is incorrect though, indoor records count as the outdoor record in the pole vault, but no other events. So Bubka does not have the world record according to iaaf rules.
You are correct. I believe it is the only record where this is the case.
I've always thought the absolute record, 616 currently, was more important, but still think there ought be a category for outdoor records like we have for indoor.
Interesting that only 25% knew Shaheen was the 3k Steeple Record holder while at least 50% of people knew all the other distance events.
Also interesting that more people got Bolt in the 100 than Bolt in the 200.
