Seems like Kerr took a page out of Centro's book - take the lead midway through the race and make the pace ungodly slow, then blow the doors off of everyone in the last lap. Ches should have known better, as a 3:52 miler he should have known he could have lead with a fast pace. Like Mobot, he is quick but almost relies on his superier endurance, and can run a fast, even-split race but doesn't have the type of speed to win a sit-and-kick race. All respect for Kerr though, he won a race he shouldn't have with superior race tactics.
