He faded badly. Like his legs cramped up from the pounding.
Not enough boost for the final miles?

They should be forced to ad :04 at the end of the name, try again adidas
Yeah, like a lot of people here, I'd like to try those shoes when they become available. Boost material, plus light weight, and what looks to be a lower heel than the Adios. If they fit my feet well and feel good, which is what it comes down to for any shoe once I try them on, what's not to like?
What's not to like?
The price, probably be over $150.00 for a few bucks worth of rubber.

What's not to like? How about they don't work as well as the heavier originals?

What originals? The Energy Boost was the original Boost shoe. A version of that is still made. If you are talking marathon racing shoes, the Adios Boost is and likely still will be available. This is a different model. Unless you work for Adidas, you probably don't know if they work as for you. I don't know for sure if I would like it either, but as advertising, making me want to try it on indicates that what they are doing is having their desired effect on me at least.
As for the price, we don't know what that will be yet. Wait a year, and you'll probably be able to get it half off anyway. That's typically what I do.

What did I state on the "Kipsang is wearing....." thread from a couple of days ago? That these shoes would likely underperform. What foresight, what knowledge.
They just looked too soft.
