Only American to run faster was Mary Slaney - and that was outdoors.
But, but, but rj, Muir and Butchard both destroyed the field and what did Hawkins just do? What's the probability of three Scots doing this?
Hey Mo, where is you

Great performance but no doubt EPO enhanced. Did she disappear to Africa or Europe recently to "train?"

She's white as snow! No EPO glow. They make em tough in Scotland.
greatest drug cheat of our time, beating genzebe dibaba to the title!
"Potchefstroom, South Africa
Altitude: 1378m
When to go: Year round
Ideal for: The track runner who would like to combine warm weather with mild altitude exposure
Pros: Great weather; great training facilities; great choice of accommodation
Cons: The altitude is probably not high enough for a real altitude training stimulus; difficult to find off-road routes for longer runs"
Not high enough for the RBCs?

Interestingly (to me anyway, as it was during my formative years) in the late '80s and early '90s Tom McKean, Liz McColgan and Yvonne Murray were all at the top of their game and winning regularly. It seems to have taken 25 years for another decent crop of Scottish mid and long distance runners to emerge.
She trained at Secunda, South Africa which is at 5200 feet, and she was tested.

And before that, Nat Muir, John Robson and Graham Williamson, as I recall.
If you haven't seen this, enjoy.

Holy crap. Great race.
She is about a minute quicker than me over 3k at the moment and my hemoglobin is 165 and my hematocrit is 48-49.
liked i've said before, Muir is a clear doper. Can grind out ridiculous races here and there, beating the Africans at their own game, but when the screws tighten, she can't hang in the championships.
Not only busted, but likely the most impactful case of all time, with Ben Johnson a close second.

This means that Lasse Viren clearly was not a doper.

very doubtful. Any top 10 Ethio/Kenyan is a much worse dope cheat.
Funny that they get to run but the Russians stay home.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
