Monday: AM-Fartlek, PM-Shakeout. 13-15 miles
Tuesday: 4-6 miles easy.
Wednesday: AM-4 easy, PM:8-9 easy.
Thursday: Tempo 4x1600 w/3min rec ~10 miles
Friday: 6-8 miles easy
Saturday: 13 mile long run
Sunday: 10min jog as warmup for stretching, foam rolling, yoga
Total: ~60mpw
I've just entered my 12th week of base training for track, with about three more weeks(not including this) to go. I followed this schedule last week and felt great. Should I keep it as is or make some changes? Thoughts, experiences, advice, and questions are appreciated.
