Alright bear with me.
I'm 22 years old, currently 149lbs. 5'11.
Currently running 70mpw and doing some decently tough (for a runner) lifting sessions twice a week. I am also doing a sprint (top speed, so like 8x50m with long rest, short hills, etc).
This isn't a thread about weight concerns, as I set all my current PRs 400m-5k @ 158 or so lbs.
In college, I had access to the dining hall and all the crappy food I wanted on the weekends. You know the drill.
Well now I'm out of college so I don't have access to "whatever I want whenever I want," per se.
I used to go by the mantra I'm sure you've all heard. If the furnace is hot enough, anything will burn. Although I still kind of agree with that, I would like to watch what I eat a little more. More specifically I want to make sure I'm eating the right amounts of Fat, Carbs and Protein.
I take a multivitamin, a calcium-magnesium-zinc (33%) supplement, and vitamin D3 2000IU.
Anyone have any diet advice on how many calories I should consume and what percentages on the macros I should be getting? Any other vitamin/minerals I should be getting?
I'm not a diet freak and by no means will be going vegan or anything like that. I just want to make sure I'm getting enough of everything I need.
