Butchart is really tough - could be the underdog for the win. Think he will not be happy if he doesnt medal.
The Brits will do really well and dominate the team medals - again. It is clearly a meet that we take very seriously. Individually it all depends who turns up, which top European runners take it seriously.
And isn't this the problem with this race; surely it's much too early in the season? Even if a runner is one of those individuals who actually prioritses X Country over track, who is going to be in anything like peak form in early/mid December? Shouldn't it be pushed back a couple of months?
no. Peak now, "rest" up until christmas, focus on indoors.

Can't wait to see how he gets on! As you say, outside the medals would be a let down after his Olympic run.
