Hello, I'm training for a 5.4 mud race, (involves obstacles) but it's not until mid-June. So how do I train for that in terms of running, strength training, or other training platforms?
Should I build up a 'base' for months and then start doing fast running a few months prior to the race, or something else?
Or should I just run periodically right now and divide my practices between running and strength?
Or something completely different?
