I often read how some elite runner ran "6 minute miles" in training, yet I know that the athlete in question trained in some hilly areas. A "6 minute mile" is one thing in flat, non-windy conditions, and another in hills, on trails, wind, etc.. I just say what I typically run on a flat, non-windy road or track, but if someone were to look at my Strava, they will see most of my runs are one or two minutes slower, due to hills especially.
What say you, LRC?
