Say two people of equal health... one took a few hits of weed a day, the other drank 1 Dr Pepper, for a full year.
Which one would have greater health problems at the end?
Arguing with a friend over it...

As long as you aren't smoking out of something plastic/crappy materials, the answer is obviously pop.

Agreed. Unless the pot smoker gets a hankering for Dr. Pepper after he gets high.
When I was a kid we would get high and then walk up to the corner store for a glass bottle of Dr.Pepper and a Charleston Chew usually chocolate flavor.
Dr. Pepper is worse for you.
Substituting weed for drinking alcohol would also be healthier.
Soda is worse on its own, but I've never known a daily pot user who lived an otherwise balanced and healthy lifestyle.
For a runner, pop is worse. You can burn off the soda calories, but you can't unsmoke your lungs.
How is this even an argument? Dr Pepper is definitely worse.
Dr. Pepper worse for your physical health
Weed worse for your mental well being

Moxie is the worst but only available north of Mass. And east of Vermont.
Weed is worse. Not even close.
I'm going to assume you mean a 12 oz can. And let's be clear that you mean over a 1 year period.
You're talking a measly 150 calories from sugar. After 1 year I would expect no change in health. The only possible negative effect would be on the teeth.
The daily smoke inhalation, however, would be more likely to have an impact on the lungs in one year.
A better debate would be an edible brownie vs the Dr Pepper.

This.
Dr. Pepper is worse provided you eat rather than smoke the marijuana. Smoking marijuana can cause lung damage.

This? 'This' isn't even a coherent sentence.

Maybe he smoked to much.

You are in denial or ignorant of people in your life who smoke pot

Nope, most of them are/were people I lived with in college and afterwards, or their close friends. I spent years of my life around them. DAILY pot smoking is not conducive to a healthy lifestyle any more than DAILY drinking is. If recreational drug use is something you do every single day, then it's playing too big of a part in your life, even if you're not doing too much at once.
Neither would be that bad. You are an idiot to even think either would be that bad for you. Think of all of the crappy food and drinks that you eat in a day. Do you really think one can of Dr. Pepper will make a difference in your health? It won't make that much difference.
In regards to just few hits a day? That's nothing. That won't do anything either and your lungs will be fine with that small amount.
Stop arguing about stupid stuff and live!

The meaning of "This" is obvious to any person who is fluent in English and has more than one brain cell.
