Seems like Clinton "won" the debate, but was it enough to have any effect in the outcome of swing states? I mostly just see national averages reported or the change in likely outcomes in individual states but not in aggregate.

IMO the debates are just a morality play where the media drills the candidates, who perform for the masses, but rarely affects their votes. Sometimes it takes a rather slanted aspect in the moderation, but even then the masses are not fooled.
