In addition to be being a retired competitive runner turned hobby jogger, I am also an avid road cyclist and mountain biker. Due to the cycling thing I have been shaving my legs for years...partly because the culture calls for it and partly because cleaning wounds after a crash is a lot easier with hairless legs.
Anyway, I'm getting pretty sick of body hair altogether. It's unsightly and unsanitary, and it obscures my muscle definition. Shaving is time-consuming and waxing is painful, so I'm thinking about going with laser hair remove from the neck on down.
Do I need to worry about being hairless, or do we have body hair only because evolution hasn't caught up with the fact that we no longer need it for warmth?
