Hi, I was wondering if anyone would answer a few questions about eating and weight (they are pretty general)
Im trying to write a paper about eating, and eating disorders in high school and collegiate runners, so any input would be really helpful.
Seriously, anything about the topic, or any good articles you've read/ seen.
As for the questions, could you tell me your gender, and if you are in high school, college, coach, etc.
1. What is the connection between performance and weight in your eyes?
2. Have you ever thought that changing your eating habits would benefit your performance?
If so, how?
3. What is the pressure (if any) from society to be thin?
4. Is there a pressure from the running community to be thin?
5. What is the prevalence of eating disorders in runners, that you've observed?

6. Is there a connection between the personalities displayed in high-level runners, and also the personalities in people with eating disorders?
