I'm a HS girl.
This summer, I really stepped up my training, running 100 miles total more than I did last summer (about 10 mpw more on average). I also think I have improved my strength and running form.
This year, my first two races have been 20-30 seconds faster than my times at the same courses last year. I have not set a PR yet this season.
I was kind of expecting bigger improvements after my increase in training volume. Should I be satisfied with my results so far based on how much training I did, or should I be changing something up and looking to address an issue? This is my 3rd summer of consistent training if that helps.
