During the fall, I find myself winning every race. However, winning doesn't give the good, warm satisfaction that it should. When the race starts, I have to push and elbow my way through the crowd, often giving other runners concussions and bloody noses. During the races, I find that the spectators never cheer for me, and instead glare at me.. (I guess im so far ahead that they think I've cut the course?) After winning the races, I have to wait for all of the runners to get to the finish line. How do I make my wins more satisfactory?
A couple years ago a few of my friends from CHS told me I should start running cross country. People say I'm not too bright but I think that my athleticism makes up for it. I followed their advice and now, after many bloody noses, concussions, broken bones, oh, and first degree burns (I've been told that hot coffee causes excruciating pain and disfigurement when spilled on you). I can proudly say that I have been cross country champion for the past two years. It's not all too satisfactory at the moment, but it is a great accomplishment nonetheless!
I owe all of my success to my friends at Country High School!
Oh
Sorry
One last thing before I go.
I might not be able to reply to this thread, Im going to court tomorrow morning. My "legal counsel" tells me it has something to do with "excruciating pain and disfigurement".
