Rupp also trains in the Structure. It is not an overly stiff shoe.
I thought the idea that shoes can change your foot plant mechanics was essentially proven wrong in several studies? Or at least not to any appreciable degree.
I was also under the assumption that the top Nike pros get custom molds for their trainers.
He seems to be in casual clothes there. He probably gets billions of free shoes from Nike, and there's no indication that he actually runs in that shoe. He's just wearing it around.

THe shoes heel to toe drop does change foot plant mechanics. So yea shoes have something to do with it

I´ve seen several videos with Rupp training in it, so why shouldn´t Lagat?
Ya nike makes custom trainers and racers for there athletes. they may look like structures but they porbally have custom parts to them
