Pegasus have worn out in 4-5 months. I love Nike gear but damn their shoes are cheap. The upper sole is also started to rip. Any good replacements? How do you guys feel about the new Brooks Launch 3?

I love the Launch 3. I've put maybe 150 miles on my pair and they still feel super silky and smooth on the inside - something I love most about them. They are very comfortable.
I do worry a bit about how well the outsole will continue to hold up. There's a tiny spot up near the tip of the toe where I'm seeing more wear than I'd expect, but otherwise they're good.
Highly recommended.
How many miles are you putting in those?
In between 300-400 they're worn out. Every time I run on concrete I feel flat footed it sucks. Getting new shoes tomorrow!
That's roughly the amount of miles you can realistically expect, but man, that's a long time to put that amount of miles into a pair of shoes.
I got them in the middle of track season and just smashed them after season prepping for xc
Got any more excuses for outing yourself as a hobby jogger?
I'm 18 years old and in college. Are you a hobby jogger?
That's a really good excuse.
Far from a fast shoe, but definitely the most comfortable for training and they last forever. No shoe compares for comfort.
Nike Free 3.0 Flyknit
They were discontinued very recently so you can get them cheap (around 50 bucks) at nike outlets. Don't bother with the 4.0 it is not worth it. Also the RN motion flyknit is too mushy, don't get that one either.
nobody believes me, but they are my go to shoe. My last pair lasted 800 miles
