It's more contrived "mudder" type OCR nonsense that seems to be all the rage with your typical off-meds, depressed fad chasing millennial.
Move along, nothing of worth to see here.
Thanks I was just about ready to register for the next event.
A more military obstacle course inspired setup. More climbing. I think a lot of good runners here would lack the upper body strength to perform well and these types of events. Pride sucks.

Runningfart2004 still making the rounds on good old letrun.com. You have to admire that sort of commitment.
I've done one. Make sure you have good grip strength and can do a ton of pullups. The hardest obstacles for me were the rigs (can't touch the ground, swing through using bars, rings, ropes, and nunchuck-like things that hang down that are super easy to slip right off of), and the Jerry can carry. The jerry can was about 200-300m steep downhill, then back up. The jerry cans are about 50 lb each.
I don't know what the relay race is. But either way start lifting and working on grip strength.
Also, wear tall socks or spandex. They love to put these courses straight through thick brush with thorn bushes. Plus the ropes will tear you up.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
