Since about the first of the year, I've been more focused on tri training while running @ 40-50 mpw. I'm going to begin building a base this summer for a winter marathon, and then Boston, and was hoping to start my running mileage at around 60-65 mpw and then building to around 80-90.
My question is... is making the jump from 50 mpw to 60-65 too much at once? It's been about 6 months since I've consistently run 60+ mpw, but have been consistently training for tris at about 15 hours per week for what it's worth.
