You obviously have natural talent, but 45-50 mpw before freshman year could set you up for injury. Personally, I would suggest working up from 20/25 to 40 mpw right as the season begins. I did this my freshman summer and finished the year with a 2 minute pr (16:15) in xc. Also, consider following SoM if your coach will let you.
Listen to your body first and foremost. If you can crank out 50 mpw and not have any flexibility issues or injury, you could easily do it. But you could just as easily have an injury threshold at 50 mpw until your body fully develops.
Play it by ear.
