I'm a little late posting this, but I wanted to know how to recover in between races. My coach has had me tripling or quadrupling in every dual meet this season. I've been running the first event, the 4x8, then a short recovery of only the 100's then the 1600, then a long recovery, the 3200, then back to back into the 4x4. I've been generally alright with it because I've been able to take it easy on one or two of the races the way the meets worked out competition wise, but that is going to change for my league championship meet. In that meet I'm going to do the 4x8, 1600 and 3200, and I'm worried about having to do them all out and my recovery between (15 minutes between 4x8 and 1600 and about an hour and a half between 1600 and 3200). My coach refuses to teach us how to do any of this stuff, so any advice would be very helpful, whether it's tips for recovering between the races, or how to push yourself for that much racing in a day.
