I have problems sleeping the night before I race. Honestly, it's gotten to the point where I'm more nervous about the sleep than the actual race itself. I've had to race after nights with literally half an hour of sleep just because I wasn't able to fall asleep and it's horrible. I have taken Advil PM before (not in season) and it helped me get to sleep and I didn't feel terribly groggy the next day. Is taking this the night before a race a bad idea? I'm not sure if it messes with sleep cycles or makes you feel worse the next day. Anybody have any experience with this?
