That guy's videos are smarmy, condescending, propagandistic nonsense.
Wow, skinnier vegans. Just wow. Controlled for age? For activity level? For genetic profile? NO. Also skinnier is not necessarily healthier. Usain Bolt has a higher BMI than an anorexic, self-harming vegan girl.
Correlation is not causation.
Eat a balanced diet without excluding foods that humans have eaten healthily for millenia. Adjust in the direction that seems to support your lifestyle. Some people are more carb-tolerant, might even be healthy as vegans. Others are carb-intolerant, and must avoid starches and sugars. Listen to your body and balance diet, sleep and training. Health is not an agenda, it is a state of being.
"Also skinnier is not necessarily healthier. Usain Bolt has a higher BMI than an anorexic, self-harming vegan girl. " - The Dr. notes in other videos that a marshmallow diet is vegan but horrible diet. And you may have noticed that, on a global scale, skinniness seems to be declining as a problem.
"Correlation is not causation." - Yes, but it indicates a possible causal relationship often worry of exploration.
"Eat a balanced diet without excluding foods that humans have eaten healthily for millennia." - I think I heard elsewhere that humans or their near ancestors have mostly been plant-eaters for 23 of the last 25 million years and only in the last 2 million years have greatly increased meat consumption.
