Does this annoy anyone else? I'm not even a distance guy and this bugs me to no end. Seeing someone with zero experience in the sport as a coach or a runner being the head coach of a distance program seems wrong and it happens quite a bit at lower levels in college. I think many of those positions could be great opportunities for recent grads looking to get into coaching.
