Who doesn't love watching a good kick? It's the money shot of track & field. I have my favorites, but recently realized there wasn't a female performance among them.
What are some of the best kicks in women's running history?

Obviously Kim conleys kick to sneak into 3rd and under an "a" mark last olympic trials was a pretty solid kick.
I think that main reason you don't notice women's kicks as often is just because they're slower in absolute times. It is the unfortunate reality of women's sports in general, they get ignored for this reason, except by those of us who are into the sport enough to want to watch both genders.
Dibaba also has had some epic kicks.
Another very entertaining kick of course would be alysia Montano at world's 800m finals a few years ago.

Now, running: Genzebe dropping a 1:57 last 800 in Beijing is mind boggling. Imagine a dude putting a 1:44 at the end of a decent overall 1500...yah...

Maybe not in the history of the sport, but if you take a look into Emily Lipari's archives you'll find some gems.
Penny Relays 2014 springs to mind when she dropped the hammer on the anchor leg of the DMR, 4x1500, and 4x800 on three consecutive days. She buried Cuffe on back-to-back days and then dismantled Roesler over the last 100 in the 4x8.
Here is that video of the nasty kick by Alysia:

Sonia Osullivan has a solid kick for silver, but Liu Dong (doping notwithstanding) goes 60.15 from 800-1200; her last 300 after that was something like 43. Pretty impressive, nearly on par with Dibaba's close at worlds.

That's my girl!
They were drug fueled, but Shobuckova had some studly finishing drives in her marathons. Often as fast as the males over the final stretches. Too bad they weren't legit.
Maggie Vessey at Pre in 2010, if I remember correctly, and then her 1:57 PR in Monaco.
She outkicked the world's best in Monaco.

While her heyday was in the late 80s-mid 90s and many here may not know much of her career, Lynn Jennings was so dominant late in races that her competitors were only racing for 2nd. One race in particular comes to mind - the 1995 Freihofer's 5K. She unleashed a powerful move with about 200m to set the course record. If you can find video, it's as if she was flying with her feet barely touching the ground.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
