Hi, I was just reading the thread about the guy running a 18 minute 5k without any run training, only crossfit style excercise. And then another poster comes in... I didnt run for years, became a fat couch potatoe but still did an easy 17:17 with my friend who wanted to race me.
Those stories make me both laugh and cry.
I started running three years ago and maybe if Im lucky I will break 20 this spring.
I am 32 years old so a very late starter, weigh around 145 by 6ft. Judging on the surface my form is good, but maybe there are deeper lying issues I am not aware of, that I myself can't see/feel.
My mileage is around 30/35 miles a week.
So, what's the verdict, am I just a nonrunner in a skinny suit, do I need to run more?
Are some people just really bad at running?
