It's a common story to show how God can work through profane vehicles to offer his divine intervention. But it's impossible for you to tell whether or not the Coast Guard came to your rescue because God intervened in their independent faculties and summoned them to you or whether or not they were doing their job and went of their own volition to help someone in need.
