My daughter wants to run a half marathon with me in May 2016 about 1 month after she turns 14.
She's a very active kid involved in a couple of sports.
She runs XC and track but has never run more than 6k.
Is this a bad idea? I was thinking 1:40 would be a good time that would not ruin her still having fun racing 1500's and XC or could you suggest a time she could run it in while still having fun just running with mom?
We were thinking 16-20 weeks of training.
is less better for her?
