Hi! I am fairly competitive distance runner. Over the last 6 months I have been experiencing some fatigue in my left leg. It is not painful, instead I just notice some discomfort in this leg during a run (i.e. more like tingling rather than a pounding sensation). This feeling's location varies between my IT band, quadricep, and hamstring.
To combat this "injury" I have tried foam rolling, icing, heat, massage, and strengthening my core. However, although the discomfort has not gotten worse, it has not gotten better either. I have taken a week off multiple times to see if that would do the trick but there was still no progress. At this point I am keeping with my normal training (about 40 mpw) and have accepted feeling these aches.
Have any other runners dealt with a similar sensation? Do you guys have any other suggestions of what to try? Is it a good idea to keep up with my training and race schedule?
