Skylons were kickass, always destroyd my running friends that were using spikes.
Does any adidas boost shoe come close to Skylon?
Have you owned both Skylon and Adidas Boost shoes, your two cents! Thank You.

You mean the Skylon trainer once it got up into the 10+ number of editions? I think the Nike Free 5.0 reminds me most of the Skylon in terms of its sole composition and feel. Brooks Launch (original version, anyway) ran a lot like the Skylon to me in terms of being a fairly light no-frills trainer. The Pegasus honestly isn't that different, either. Any shoe like the Brooks T7, Adidas Adios, or New Balance 1400 will give you a quick feel in a shoe that might have enough cushion for experienced runners to use daily.

The adidas shoe with the Boost midsole that is closest to the Skylon would probably be the adidas Boston Boost. It's a light neutral trainer and a good shoe.
Loved the Skylon too. Have run a bit in the Boston Boost 5 and really love the neutral ride. Fit of the upper is nice and the shoe rides well at speed. If you loved the Skylon, this would be the closest fit.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
