I don't speak Chinese so I don't think I'll be able to press charges.
But things are well, maybe the assault spurred my productivity. We are leaving the track at 1:30 am, the earliest all week.

There is no "Chinese" language. There IS mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, Shanghaiese and others. Have you two ever actually opened up a book in your lives?
Also, legally, assault means to threaten someone. Battery is the physical beating or hitting of another. Did he assault you or did he batter you?
Happy to see all the LetsRun poster's money has been used on a nice trip to the WCs for the Brojos.

Assault and battery? Offensive post? Methinks Tsingtao involved.
given all your idle time, instead, find out what's up (or really down) with that whacky stock market. And mind you devaluation of Yuan could lead to rioting, food lines, etc.

How did the brojos get money from LRC posters ? This is not a pay site. BTW - when you run a site about running, wouldn't you think it is imperative that site cover the WCs ?

Actually assault and battery can be used interchangeably in many state statutes.
Battery is an offensive touching of one's person, not limited to "physical beating or hitting of another."
Assault can be classified as putting one in immediate apprehension of a battery, amongst other definitions.
So legally, you're wrong too.

Which individual poster is it that you are referring to and how did the Brojos get his/her money?
Go home, your drunk.

I have a party coming up this weekend. Can I invite both of you? You seem like you'd make it real fun.

You say they can be used interchangeably and then give definitions which are far from interchangeable. In what states can they be used interchangeably?
There is no "Taiwanese." 70% speak Hokkien but the official language is Mandarin. In Shanghai, the most common dialect is Wu, but almost everybody speaks Mandarin as well.

The "definitions" provided relate to traditional tort claims in which assault and battery are still delineated.... more so than some state criminal statutes.
The scope of Sally definition of battery was far too narrow, that is what I referred to.
Think of the term sexual assault...
Finally, I was on the can and wanted Sally to stf correcting people when she was stupid wrong.
I'm on the can again.

Obviously you are not an attorney and I am right as usual:
In criminal law, assault is usually listed alongside battery. Many people are familiar with the term “assault and battery,” and battery is often confused with assault. However, assault is a separate charge from battery. It is generally defined as an attempted battery. Alternatively, it can be defined as “the intentional creation of a reasonable apprehension of harm.”
While this sounds very complex, assault basically refers to situations where one person creates a fear of harm in another person. For example, if a person pulls their fist back as if to punch someone, and the other person believes that they will be punched, it might be considered assault. Battery, on the other hand, would occur if the person was actually punched.

actually I am so suck it
you are repeating the civil tort definition and I claimed that in criminal codes they are often interchangeable - which is dead freakin accurate - so suck it
