Rousey's strength is her grappling, not her striking.
Could she beat him? Sure.
Would she? Probably not.

Fixed.
If Rousey was armed with a baseball bat, she still wouldn't stand a chance.
If she could evade his thunderous strikes she could take him to the ground and submit him. But she needs to do quickly.
I am a former head trainer of lightweight boxing champion. If she stood toe-to-toe with him she would lose. But if she gets him on the ground he is a goner. She would destroy him there.
These posters thinking maybe are so wrong.
Case in point: Rousey refuses to fight that good chick who is 2 weight classes up on Rousey unless she loses weight to step down a class.
Am I blaming Rousey for not fighting a female 2 weight classes up? No. But if she is reluctant to do that, what does that tell you about 300+ lb athletic male?
This question and the replies on this thread far surpass the stupidity of the "UFC Fight vs. Navy Seal" thread. Please, please, please tell me you're all trolling...
Brock Lesnar is 295 lb. Ronda Rousey is 135 lb. Think about that for a second before you idiots argue that she could control a nearly 300 lb man and submit him on the mat and all she would have to do is evade his strikes. He is more than double her weight, and basically all muscle.
Lesnar could have mono while severely weakened with the flu, dehydrated, drunk, and have a broken foot and still be able to destroy Rousey within seconds.
He was the UFC heavyweight champion, you idiots.
Here is Rousey sparring with Gegard Mousasi who weighs 195 lbs. He's giving like 50% effort at most and pushing around Rhonda like a rag doll. If Mousasi actually hit Rousey he would seriously hurt her. Brock Lesner wight about 100 lbs more than Mousasi.
You're a boxing coach, so stick to what you know.
At one time, Lesnar was one of the baddest dudes on the planet. He had ferocious ground and pound. Not to mention, she couldn't physically arm bar him if he voluntarily gave her his arm.
Rousey is only good at beating up 130 pound women. She'd lose to any man in UFC and it wouldn't be close.
There's only one question any serious person should ask: how long after the match would her funeral be?

This.
I'm hoping that those who are suggesting that Rousey could possibly withstand Lesnar for more than a few brief moments are themselves trolls.
Because, if not, the stupidity of you delusional Postmodern punks is astounding. The culture (and the educational system) have done quite a number on you youngsters, who appear to live in a fantastical world of your own imagination.
Brock would eat her for lunch and still be hungry, and, then eat her entire family. Brock is a beast.
To be clear, I said she could only in the sense that given a million chances, anyone could beat anyone. Brock could trip, fall, and concuss himself without ever touching Rousey. Rousey could land a one in a million head shot, or Lesnar could do something stupid and let Rousey submit him. 99 times out of 100 he's going to knock her out though.

Obviously she would take Lesner pretty easily. I think a better opponent for Rousey would be a silverback gorilla. On one hand, you'd have Rousey and her unparalleled striking ability. But, on the other hand, a silverback gorilla is 500 pounds and could rip Rousey's head from her neck with its bare hands. I think it'd be close.

Oh, well in that case, my 2 year old nephew's got a chance against Brock Lesnar. I mean, Lesnar could have a brain aneurism or heart attack or something immediately after the start of the fight and technically my nephew will have beat him.
What's the point of resorting to 1-in-a-trillion chances of something happening? We all know that ANYTHING is possible, but who cares. We're considering realistic scenarios. And no, Lensar LETTING Rousey submit him is not a scenario worth considering.
[Jim Carrey Voice]So you're telling me there's a chance?![/Jim Carrey Voice]
this thread is useless without pics
You guys are overestimating Brock and underestimating her. He has some losses. She has won convincingly every fight. Sure he has size advantage but much of his adult life spent playacting on WWE. He does not move very well. His agility is suspect. She is great at feinting. She pretends to throw a left hook and he puts up his guard and she then goes low for the takedown with her superior grappling skills. Please don't sell her short.
If they both weighed 135 pounds, she would beat him easily .
