Recent high school grad here. Before getting injured and taking a break from running for awhile in my junior year, I always ran in shoes that were under 8oz. I would like to branch out more, but would like an easy transition. I'm thinking the Boston Boosts would be a good candidate for this. Any recommendations? Should I even worry? On a side note, my favorite shoes in high school were the Kinvara 3s and the Asics Gel Lyte 33 2s (which I'd love to wear again but the last kinvaras I had (the 5s) had a uncomfortable "pro lock" thing on them and Asics stopped making the gel Lyte 33s). Any shoes out right now that are comparable to these?
