I am going into my junior year of high school and in spring track I ran 4:55 mile and 10:45 two mile off of 30 miles a week (3 long runs and 3 track workouts). I'm trying to break 17 in the 5k this season. What should I try to peak my mileage at if I have 9 weeks until the official season starts and I have already built up to 55 mpw?
