Just posting some comments from last week now. I will post my week after I get in my long run this morning.
Running again - Congrats on the new mileage high. Good luck in your mile race tomorrow!
Matthias - Your TT last week looked solid. Looking forward to hearing how well it boded for your 5k yesterday.
pewow - Hope you are feeling better after your long illness.
Runnersfix - 14:5x in those high dewpoint conditions is very solid. I hope you had better conditions for your 10k Friday night.
Perkunas - Your speed seems to be coming along nicely. Don't count yourself out yet for that 17:00 3 mile goal.
OklahomaGuy - That's a picture perfect week for high school summer training. Keep up the great work.
xenonscreams - Welcome back, sister! Hope you can stay more consistent posting for your next training cycle - your posts are always entertaining. :)
Pikachu - Eh, those things happen. Sounds like you are on top of things, though, so I am sure you will bounce back in another week or so after re-charging.
back into it - Bummer about the HM, but I am excited to see your next marathon block beginning. I like how you craft your various weeks and sessions.
incoming freshman - Hope the 8k went well.
Forcerunner - Yet another July 4th racer! Can't wait to hear the results, both from your race and from your special block session.
Niceguy542007 - Very impressive long run.
Oedipus Rexing - It's a shame you didn't get to see the payoff you were hoping for at the end of the season. You are very talented with a good work ethic. And you are healthy. Keep at it, and over time, you will get that payoff...sometimes when you least expect it. :)
Working harder - Let the taper begin. :)
ThatAverageRunner - Haha, we've all had those type of 5k splits before. Not quite as bad as my Philly Marathon splits last year (1:25 first half/1:42 second half), so aim higher next time, will ya? :)
Nop200 - Bless your heart on all of that elevation running. You are one tough SOB!
hantph96 - Very nice 5k split at the end of your triathlon. I am not fast on the bike either, which is why I stick to just running. :)
sps - Just keep smart with your road to recovery. I know how frustrating it has been getting back to this point, so don't feel like you need to make up for lost time by rushing things along. Glad to hear that you are making progress with that soleus/calf issue.
