What are your guys' pr's? I'm thinking about making the switch. I've been running in the kinvaras and I want to jump down to flats. Also, I'd like tips on transitioning, which ones to use, etc. And I'd like it to be a serious discussion

I'd like a quality discussion. Because I'm not really sure if I should.
I'd like to hear about others as well
It took me a few months to transition to them. I was in Nike Free 5.0 for 3-6 months (I can't remember, this was six years ago) and then I started running in Saicony Kilkenny XC flats and have run in them ever since. During my transition I learned how to run on my forefoot instead of my heel. That was a huge factor for me and I have not had a running injury since then. I didn't start running until my 30s and in my late 30s I ran 16:49. That's not great but I was and am old and I had never run before. I have run 100 like weeks in them and put 1200 miles on a pair. Not bad for shoes that cost $50. I can't wear shoes w arch support or I all get PF. Once I started running in flats my PF went away. This is what works for me. I'm not saying that it will work for anyone else.
Sorry for all those typos, I'm on my phone. *100 mile weeks is what I wanted to say.
Also, I only run in these shoes. I don't bother wearing anything else. I have spikes but unless the track is really wet I wouldn't even bother to wear them. One caveat, they are light but they have very little cushioning which I like, some people may not.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
