Hey guys, I am a sprinter for my senior year of highschool. I recently have had hamstring problems over the last month or so, and decided to give myself a week break because I thought I had a grade 1 hamstring strain. I felt no pain anymore, and decided to ease back into my speed workouts. Time goes by and now I'm starting to feel tightness deep in my hamstring near the top, under my glute. After further research, I think I have high hamstring tendinitis. The state track meet is in 2 weeks from today and I cannot miss practice, otherwise someone else will just take my spot in the sprint relay, I'm only in the 4x1. I came up with a little plan to try and monitor this nagging injury for the next 2 weeks and was looking on some feedback: Wake up, roll out and stretch. Before practice, hot tub and roll out, wear a hamstring compression during practice. After practice, ibuprofein and ice + protein. At night, roll out and stretch, then do nothing on recovery days. Do you guys have any tips? I can't miss practice so its a little do or die situation. Please let me know
