A little about myself. I'm 21, a collegiate runner who usually runs around 80 miles per week, and I have a history of stress fractures.
Recently coming back from taking time off for a stress fracture and I've been running for about 7-8 weeks now and I haven't gotten much higher than 35 miles per week with some small workouts. I don't believe that I have been raising my mileage back too quickly. I'm having some pain in my right leg under my knee, at the top of the tibia where there is a small bump and on the outside of the shin in this area. There is pain if I push on the right side of the bone where this small bump is on the tibia and on the outside of the shin bone for the top 1/4 of the shin. It hurts when going up and down stairs, squatting, running, and if I make a hard impact with the ground. Any ideas?
I've been taking a few days off now to see if it gets any better but it hasn't improved too much.
