hey guys i'm looking to tryout for my university track and field team and for the decathlon. tryouts are in september, but I want to start training now. a friend recommended this site as good for distance related questions.
I was wondering how to train for a sub 4:45 possibly sub 4:30 1500m? I have never done anything distance related in my life.
current stats are
height:5'11
weight:155lbs
some pr's
100m:11.33
400m:54.41
high jump :2m
long jump: 6.53m
i have a good squat and bench if it matters?
