Hi guys, taking a trip soon and wondering if anyone has ever run with a GoPro (either on a hat or holding it)? Are they easy to carry? Wondering if it's worth getting one.. thanks for any input!

You need a chest strap to keep the camera steady.
Any GoPro video is darn boring unless you spend hours upon hours editing and adding music.
I tried it with a chest mount and the video was way too bouncy. So I just ended up holding it with my hand, worked much better.
Of course I only video trail running, no one wants to see your boring road running.

No one wants to see your boring trail running either.
I use mine on trail runs sometimes. I bring a Sandmarc telescoping pole. It works pretty well. https://youtu.be/-22VkdOOzI8

Yeah, but don't you think the chest mount would work for those of us without huge, bouncy man boobs?
More like the GoSLOW, am I right?

No bro, it doesn't work like that. I have no man boobs, just the typical emaciated bony chest of a long distance runner.
I rented one for my team's spring break trip, it was a lot of fun on our long-run up to the top of the small mountain. Rented from camerahermit.com.
I think Sage Canaday does...for his running videos. Really well done with whatever he uses, but i think he mentioned once that it was Gopro with some sort of aid.
What is the threshold that separates a "hobbyjogger" from a "sub-elite" runner?

Why's it cost every household $5000 in taxes just to run a public school?
