My first marathon was 1.5 years ago with the following training and prep races:
Mileage: 35 to 42 per week
5K - 18:30
Half - 1:26:55
Full - 3:18:11
I've got my second marathon coming up in 2 months and just did my last tune up race. What do you think my marathon goal time should be?
Mileage: 45-55 per week
5K - 17:48
Half - 1:21:38
Full - ?:??:??
Obviously need more miles to optimize the marathon, but think I'll be able to give it a much better go this time with my half 5 minutes faster and my mileage higher / more consistent over the past 6 months than previously.
What say you? What should my goal time be?
