Lol, legit, if this guys applied himself he could be an excellent runner, being 270s and running a 6:10 mile AFTER that kind of food is actually impressive. It makes me curious what kind of mile he could do if he was low body fat % and trained.

how the hell?? this is actually pretty amazing.
Arturo Burritos.
Whoa.
i would like to ask him how much physical activity he does per week... if he doesn't do very much, he has loads of talent.
More like a 6:10 1200.
But I like the effort and it's good promotion for running.

Oh, yeah. I watched it again and counted myself. It was 3 laps. Still, that guy is nuts lol
He's not obese and he's the LA Beast. Look, him up on YouTube. He does a lot of funny/stupi challenges including eating 5 lbs of gummy bears and an entir watermelon rind and all. He's pretty funny.
That sound like an ordinary Saturday for me.
no run but just as amusing
This guy has more potential than the u Washington student in the other thread
I actually slowed it down and counted he did 4, read the comments they were being a dick and convinced him to do a 5th.
But yeah, this is amazing for a chubby guy who got famous from eating 10,000 calorie meals of syrup, raw eggs and chocolate.
This should be deleted. That is not a 6:10 stride...more like a 9min/mile stride.
He does a beer mile in this one at 250 lbs in 8 minutes, the first 400m is at 5:30 pace if you subtract the time it took him to drink the beer.
Legit amazing for being that big, he's even fatter in that video.
This is definitive proof that all you 15-16min 5k runners have no talent and that 90% of the population could run your times if only they were to try. It's funny how inflated the average runner's ego is.
Lol, he literally ran a 1:23 first 400 in the beer mile one hahahah. His form is actually pretty good.
You should watch the video where he eats a cactus. Incredible.
Just watched the video carefully. I counted 4 laps, and the 7:00 timer stopped with 0:50 remaining, therefore a 6:10 mile.
I agree with other posters though, doesn't look like he's running close to 6:10 pace.
Arturo Burritos? Had to wipe off my computer screen after reading that.
I do think he ran 6:10. While his form isn't the greatest and he weighs as much as all Kenyans put together, he covers ground quickly. Watch clips of men running 6:10 pace and you realize it doesn't appear quick, in particular with someone who is not only heavy but tall as well. A 5 foot 90 pound female running 6:10 pace would appear to be flying. A while back I ran a 15k. I'm 6'1 and 200 pounds. I ran alongside the women's leaders at just over 6 minute pace. She was maybe 5 feet tall and no more than 100 pounds. Saw a clip later. I looked like I was lumbering along at 9 minutes a mile, while she was up on the balls of her feet with turnover I can only dream of, looking like she was running 5:20's. I have no doubt he ran 6:10. At any rate, that was almost as impressive as a sub 5 beer mile.
Ridgewood, NJ... this is our local track. Glad to see that it's famous.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
