a little backstory:
I ran in high school at a competitive level and ran mid 9:20s and 4:20s until an injury held me out of my senior season. Had some offers but I basically stopped running for a year or two and only was off and on but never very serious about it.
This spring I'm back trainig hard and have raced a 5000 in 15:02 and time trialed a mile in 4:16.
I have a few years of eligibility left and am looking to run at the collegiate level because I love the sport and believe I can improve enough to make an impact on the scene.
Should I even bother contacting larger schools? Or just try to improve solo until I am more around 14:30 or so
